    13158 Berlin

  2. Summary

You can visit our website without providing any personal information. We do not use analytics or tracking tools, advertising cookies or social media plugins. Fonts, images and videos are delivered from our own server. We only process personal data where this is technically necessary to run the website or when you contact us yourself.

  3. Hosting

Our website is hosted by Host Europe GmbH, c/o WeWork, Friesenplatz 4, 50672 Köln, Germany. Host Europe processes the data described below exclusively on our behalf and according to our instructions. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Host Europe in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of our website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

  4. Server log files

Each time you access our website, your browser automatically transmits information to our server, which is stored in so-called log files:

IP address of the requesting device
    date and time of access
    page or file requested
amount of data transferred and status message (e.g. whether the page was found)
previously visited page (referrer), if transmitted by your browser
    browser type and operating system

This data is technically necessary to display the website to you and also serves security purposes, for example to detect and defend against attacks. We do not combine it with other data or analyse it in order to identify you personally. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The log files are only stored for as long as is necessary for these purposes and are then deleted automatically. If a security incident is being investigated, individual entries may be retained until it has been resolved.

  5. SSL/TLS encryption

Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar and the padlock symbol. This means that data you send to us via the contact form cannot be read by third parties.

  6. Cookies and local storage

We only use strictly necessary cookies and similar storage technologies, for example to remember your language selection. They do not contain any identifiers that would allow us to recognise you or track your behaviour. The legal basis is Section 25 (2) No. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) and, where personal data is concerned, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Your consent is not required for this. Our cookie policy (link in the footer) explains in detail which cookies we use, how long they are stored and how you can delete them.

  7. Contact form and contact by email or phone

If you send us an enquiry via the contact form, we process your email address (required) as well as the optional information name, phone number, subject and your message. This information is sent to us by email. The same applies if you email or call us directly.

We use your information solely to handle your enquiry, prepare a quote and, where applicable, process an order. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

We delete your enquiry once it has been fully dealt with and no further questions are to be expected. If an order is placed, we retain quotes, order documents and business correspondence for as long as required by German commercial and tax law (generally six or eight years under Section 257 of the German Commercial Code, HGB, and Section 147 of the German Fiscal Code, AO).

  8. Price calculator and screen printing game

The price calculator and the screen printing game run entirely in your browser. Your entries, such as garment, quantity or colours, are not transmitted to us and are not stored. The game only loads our current prices from our own website. If you select a language yourself in the game, this choice is saved in your browser’s local storage (see cookie policy). Section 7 only applies if you contact us via the contact form or by email after playing the game or calculating a price.

  9. Links to social networks and maps

Our website contains plain links to our pages on Facebook and Instagram and to Google Maps. These are not embedded content or plugins: no data is transferred to these providers when you visit our website. You only leave our website when you click such a link. These providers are themselves responsible for processing your data on their pages, and their privacy policies apply.

  10. Disclosure of data

We do not sell your data or pass it on for advertising purposes. Data is only disclosed where this is necessary to process an order (for example to shipping companies), where we are legally obliged to do so (for example to tax authorities), or to service providers acting on our behalf who are contractually bound to data protection (for example our hosting provider).

  11. Your rights

You have the right at any time to

obtain information about the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR),
request the erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR),
request the restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
receive your data in a common, machine-readable format (Art. 20 GDPR) and
withdraw any consent you have given with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).

Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

An informal message to info@strict-textildruck.de or to our postal address is sufficient for all of this.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany, www.datenschutz-berlin.de.

  12. No automated decision-making

We do not make automated decisions within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR and do not carry out profiling.

  13. Changes to this privacy policy

We will update this privacy policy if our website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.

This English version is provided for your convenience. In case of doubt, the German version shall prevail.
